Just know that we REALLY wanted to!

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.   AND THAT'S GOOD BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING FOR SALE HERE. 

1. Promotion Eligibility: You must be at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry in Crazy Aunt Purl's Book-Readin' Wine-Drinkin' Meet-Me-in-California Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) and a legal resident of the 50 United States (and the District of Columbia).   Employees and suppliers of FLOW Network Productions, Inc., and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children) of those employees and suppliers are not eligible.  Subject to all local, federal, and state laws and regulations. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the Promotion. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited.  By participating, entrant gives full and unconditional agreement to the official rules of the Promotion, as well as all of the Promotion Sponsors' decisions regarding all matters related to the Promotion, which are final and binding.  Prizes will be awarded contingent upon winners fulfilling all requirements and eligibility as set forth in these official Promotion rules.

2. Promotion Sponsor: The Sponsor of this Promotion is FLOW Network Productions, Inc., 10837 Farralone Ave., Chatsworth, CA, 91311. 

3.  Prize Sponsors:  PRIZE SPONSORS WILL BE LISTED HERE IF ANY ARE OBTAINED

4. Promotion Timing: The Promotion begins on October 21, 2007 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("EST") and ends on November 12, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. EST (the "Promotion Period").   Promotion Sponsor's computer is the official time keeping device for this Promotion.

5. Promotion Entry: Entries can be made during the Promotion Period by filling out the online entry form at http://flownetworkproductions.com/crazyauntpurlregistration.htm

All registration information requested on the online entry form must be complete and correct, including a valid home address.  P.O. boxes are not acceptable as a valid home address

. 

After you have completed and submitted the required information on the online entry form, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.

LIMIT: one (1) entry per person per day during the Promotion Period. Entrants who attempt to enter the Promotion more than once per day by using multiple and/or different e-mail addresses, identities, logins, or registrations will void all entrant's entries for that day and that entrant may result in disqualification from participation in the Promotion.  All entries become the exclusive property of Promotion Sponsor, and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Promotion Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, nor is Promotion Sponsor responsible for entries that are corrupted or otherwise not received correctly, nor for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment software, failure of email, nor for any technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof.  Proof of sending or submitting an online entry form will not be deemed to be proof of receipt of the online entry form by Promotion Sponsor.   Promotion Sponsor is not responsible for any injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in the Promotion.  

The authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant. The “authorized account holder” is the person to whom the e-mail address has been  assigned by the individual, company or organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used on the online entry form that was submitted.

Use of any type of automated entry system is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Tell Somebody Referral Program: All entrants will be invited to submit the names and email addresses of other people who will be sent an e-mail notification of the Promotion and an invitation to participate.  Entrants must have an existing relationship with each person referred, and each referred name and e-mail address must be valid and correct.  For each referral, the entrant will receive one (1) additional entry for the Promotion.  Entrants can only submit each referral once during the Promotion Period.  Multiple submissions of referrals may result in disqualification. 

Bonus Entry Program:  Entrants may be given the opportunity for one or more Bonus Registrations during the Promotion Period.  For each complete and correct Bonus Registration form submitted, entrant will receive one (1) additional entry for the Promotion.  Entrants can complete each Bonus Entry only once during the Promotion Period.  Multiple submissions of Bonus Entry forms may result in disqualification.   

6. Prize Drawing:  The decisions of the Promotion Sponsor regarding the administration and operation of the Promotion and the selection of potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.

Daily Drawing:  Promotion Sponsor will randomly select the potential Daily Drawing winners, from all of the eligible previous day's entries.   The Potential Winner of the daily drawing will be the winner of the designated daily prize indicated below. 

Promotion Drawing:  Promotion Sponsor will randomly select the potential winners of the Promotion's Grand Prize, Consolation Prize, and No Consolation Prizes on or around November 18, 2007. 

7. Potential Winner Verification. ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY PROMOTION SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROMOTION. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE, AND WILL BE AWARDED NO PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT THE VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. 

Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. The potential Sweepstakes winner will be notified by email, telephone, or registered mail after the date of random drawing. The potential Grand Prize winner (parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to sign and return to ePrize, within ten (10) days of the date notice is sent, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (except where prohibited) in order to claim his/her prize if applicable. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release within the required time period (if applicable), potential winner forfeits prize. In the event that a potential winner of the Grand Prize or a First Prize is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. There will be three (3) alternate drawings after which the prize will remain unawarded. Unclaimed Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Prizes will not be awarded. First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Prizes will be fulfilled 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the Promotion.

8. Prizes:

Sweepstakes Prize: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: A Trip for two (2) to Orange County, California. Trip package includes roundtrip coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Orange County, California; 3 days and 2 nights accommodations at a private vacation rental home determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (double occupancy); attendance at a book reading conducted by Laurie Perry (at a location and time to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion); a one-hour meeting with Laurie Perry  (at a location and time to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion).  Winner must complete the trip December 14, 15, & 16, 2007 or prize will be forfeited.  Trip must be booked by November 29, 2007.  Air transportation must be roundtrip.  Airline and flight itinerary will be booked and determined by Promotion Sponsor in its sole discretion.   In the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight for any reason, no refund or compensation of any kind will be made to Promotion Winner.  Air travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the airline carrier chosen by the Promotion Sponsor as detailed in the passenger ticket contract.  Winner and traveling companion agree to abide by the rules of private vacation rental home accommodations including, but not limited to the no pets and no children policies.  Only the winner and traveling companion will be allowed entry to the gated community where the private rental home is located, and any other visitors or guests will not be permitted except with written permission and appropriate security clearance from the property owner.  Winner is solely responsible for any loss, damage, or theft that occurs to the property and its contents and with acceptance of the prize, agrees to reimburse the owner for any such loss, damage, or theft in an amount to be determined by the property owner.

All expenses and travel costs associated with this Grand Prize package that are not expressly stated in the Grand Prize description above are the sole responsibility of the winner.  This includes, but is not limited to food and beverage, ground transportation, incidental expenses, passenger and/or airport tariffs, duties, surcharges or fees, taxes, service charges and tips. 

The travel companion of the winner must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of departure and must depart from the same city, on same itinerary, on the same day, and at the same time as the winner. If the winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, their travel companion must be their parent or legal guardian. Both the winner and their travel companion must execute applicable liability and/or publicity releases before travel documents will be issued.  Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply.

Promotion Sponsor may in its sole discretion determine that air travel is not required because of the winner's proximity to the Grand Prize location, and may substitute  ground transportation for roundtrip air travel.   Winner is responsible for all travel tickets, vouchers and certificates, and Promotion Sponsor will not replace any tickets, vouchers, or certificates that are lost, mutilated, or stolen.  Sponsor is not responsible if any portion of the Grand Prize is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason, and no substitution will be provided except as in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize as described above is $2,500. Actual value may vary based on fluctuations in airfare and distance between the winner's departure city and the Grand Prize destination. The odds of winning the Grand Prize are dependent on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

THIRTY (30) Daily Drawing prizes: Cheetos Lover's Gift Box, containing an assortment of snack-size Cheetos in a box autographed by Laurie Perry.  The ARV of all Daily Drawing prizes is $300.  The odds of winning a Daily Drawing Prize depends on the number of eligible entries received each 24-hour period between 12:00 a.m. PST and 11:59 p.m. PST during the Promotion Period.  One Daily Drawing potential winner will be will randomly selected each day during the Promotion Period from the previous day's qualified entries beginning on October 22, 2007.  

ONE (1) Consolation Prize:  Wine Gift Basket containing at least one bottle of wine.  Potential Winner must verify that they are at least 21 years old by submitting a certified copy of their driver's license, passport, or other state or government-issued I.D.     In the event that the Potential Winner of the Consolation Prize Wine Gift Basket is not 21 years old or cannot or will not not provide sufficient proof of age as specified above, that entrant will be disqualified and no prize or compensation of any kind will be awarded to the disqualified entrant.  In the event that the potential winner is disqualified, Promotion Sponsor may in its sole discretion award the Consolation Prize Wine Gift Basket with a random drawing from the remaining qualified and eligible entrants.   ARV of the Consolation Prize Wine Gift Basket is $100. 

No Consolation Prize:  ONE (1)

TEN (10) Grander-than-Grand Prize:  A copy of the book, "Drunk, Divorced & Covered in Cat Hair" autographed by Laurie Perry.  The ARV of the Grander-than-Grand Prizes is $160.

Pertaining to All Prizes: No cash equivalent or substitutions will be awarded under any circumstances, except as provided in these Official Rules at the Promotion Sponsor's sole discretion.  All prizes are non-transferable.  Promotion Sponsor reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if for any reason the designated prize is unavailable for any reason at the time of the Prize drawings. THE TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES is $XXXXXXXX.

9. Release of Liability: Each winner agrees with the acceptance of any prize to release and hold harmless the Promotion Sponsor, its affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertisers, and each of their respective parent companies and each these company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, death, personal injury,  damage or loss of the winner's or traveling companion's property, or mental or emotional distress arising from the participation in the Promotion or the  receipt, use or misuse of any prize.

10. Publicity and Publication of Prize Winners: With acceptance of any prize, winner consents to allow the Promotion Sponsor to use their name, place of residence, likeness, photograph, voice, video recording, opinions and endorsement in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration except where prohibited. 

11. General terms and Conditions: Promotion Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion, if the integrity or functionality of the contest is threatened or compromised due to technical failures, fraudulent activities, or any other circumstances that are beyond the Promotion Sponsor's reasonable control.   In the event that the Promotion is herein modified, suspended or canceled, Sponsor reserves the right to award the Promotion prizes according to the original guidelines of the Promotion using eligible entries received up to the time of the modification, suspension, or cancellation.   Any individual who is determined to be disrupting or interfering with the the Promotion as it was intended to operate, or violating these Official Rules, or exhibiting any unsportsmanlike behaviors  may, at the Promotion Sponsor's sole discretion, be disqualified

Any actions or attempted actions made by any person to undermine or disrupt this Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law.  Should such activity or attempted activities occur, Promotion Sponsor reserves the right to seek to prosecute and seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law. 

Promotion Sponsor’s failure to enforce any of the terms of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

12. Limitations of Liability: With participation in the Promotion, each entrant agrees to release the Released Parties from any and all responsibility for: (1) any and all inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, Promotion employees or suppliers, equipment, programming, technical failures, or any facet of the operations involved in the execution of the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes or Instant Win Game play, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Promotion, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein.

Only the number of prizes specified in these Official Rules will be awarded.  In the event that human, technical, or programming errors or malfunctions causes prizes to be claimed in excess of the number specified herein, Promotion Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing among all prize claims in order to award only the stated number and type of prizes. 

13. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Southern Division) or the appropriate Michigan State Court located in Oakland County, Michigan; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Michigan, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Michigan or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Michigan.

14. Privacy Policy for Entrants: Information collected from entrants will be shared only as specified with each Entry, Tell Somebody referral, and Bonus Entry.  Entrant's personal information is otherwise subject to the Privacy Policy of the web site where the entrant entered.  To view that Privacy Policy, click here. 

15. List of Winners: To obtain a list of all prize winners in the promotion, entrant must send an email with the Subject Line: “Crazy Aunt Purl Contest Winner Request" to capwinners@flownetworkproductions.com.  The list will be returned to the same e-mail address from which the request originated.  All requests for the Winners List must be received by 11:59 p.m. PST on December 15, 2007. 

16. Mailing List Opt-lout: If entrant would not like to receive reminders or notifications about this Promotion or future Promotions by FLOW Network Productions, Inc. send an e-mail with the Subject Line: "Mailing List Opt-Out" from the e-mail address to be removed to optout@flownetworkproductions.com.  Opt-out requests will be fulfilled within thirty (30) days.
